FAQ

Frequently asked questions

ICT/FCT testing, custom test software, automation machines, soldering pallets and PCB design — answered by our engineers.

What is the difference between ICT and FCT testing?

ICT (In-Circuit Test) checks individual components and solder joints on a populated PCB — measuring resistance, capacitance, shorts and opens through test points or a bed-of-nails. FCT (Functional Circuit Test) powers the board up and verifies it behaves like the finished product. Most electronics lines use both: ICT to catch manufacturing defects early, FCT to confirm real-world function. VILOOK TECH designs and builds both ICT and FCT test jigs and the test software that drives them.

Who designs and builds custom ICT/FCT test jigs?

VILOOK TECH builds in-line and manual ICT/FCT test jigs for high-volume electronics manufacturing. Each fixture is engineered to the specific PCB and production line, with stable probing and contact, and pairs with custom test software tuned to that line's standard.

Can I get custom test software developed for my production line?

Yes. VILOOK TECH develops ICT/FCT test software to each production line's own standard and sequence, integrates measurement data into your quality and traceability systems, and tunes cycle time so testing keeps pace with the line — all developed and supported in-house.

Who builds automation and assembly machines for electronics manufacturing?

VILOOK TECH designs and builds automated assembly machines with modular feeding, clamping and inspection, engineered around your existing factory layout and scalable to output demand — reducing dependence on manual labor and stabilizing quality across assembly stages.

What is a soldering pallet and when do I need one?

A soldering pallet (solder pallet or jig) holds a PCB and its components in stable position through wave or selective soldering and masks areas that should not be soldered. You need one when soldering boards at volume and you require repeatable positioning through thermal cycles. VILOOK TECH manufactures heat-stable soldering pallets for clean, consistent electronics assembly.

Do you provide PCB design with EMI/EMC compliance?

Yes. VILOOK TECH provides industrial-grade PCB and circuit design for consumer and test products, engineered to meet EMI/EMC requirements, with in-house bench testing and measurement to validate every design before release.

Can test jigs be built for high-volume, in-line production?

Yes. VILOOK TECH's ICT/FCT jigs come in both in-line and manual configurations, with stable contact and probing built for high-volume electronics manufacturing.

Where is VILOOK TECH located and which regions do you serve?

VILOOK TECH is headquartered in Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam, and serves electronics and supporting-industry manufacturers in Vietnam and across export markets. The company was founded in 2020.
